Canterbury Cantata Trust – Caring through Singing

We are a Canterbury-based charity helping people of all ages and abilities to improve health and wellbeing through active participation in singing.
We believe that anyone who wishes to sing with other people should be able to do so, regardless of experience, and without any financial barrier.
Based on the belief that singing is good for you, and following over a decade of collaborative research, we act as an umbrella organisation to make opportunities for caring through singing.

Upcoming Performances

Canterbury Cantata Trust has been running a range of singing groups for the past 12 years.
The Trust’s flagship choral groups, Amici and Cantata Choirs demonstrate their vibrancy and the significance that coming together to sing means in their lives.
A strong focus of the charity’s work has been on Singing and Wellbeing, as exemplified by ‘Monday Music’ groups, open to anyone, that meet weekly in Canterbury and Folkestone, and are billed as a physical, psychological and spiritual workout through singing.
The charity also operate a network of singing groups for people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions across the UK and beyond.
